I have found that online flash games are extremely popular. This is probably because you (usually) don’t have to wait a long time to download it and they are free. Unfortunately because they are free they usually aren’t good/playable and they aren’t updated often/ever. But there are some that stand out. I am here to tell you in no particular order what those games are.

1. Dwarfs Complete

This addicting puzzle game is very nice for several reasons. It automatically saves your progress (using cookies i guess). It’s not too hard but there is a level of mind power that is required to solve the various puzzles. The site is in Japanese but just ignore it and play the game. The game itself is about a dwarf who I think is trying to get off of either an abandoned planet or the moon. To complete the game you need to find 40 pieces of equipment create a floating rock and activate the spaceship to get off the moon/planet. You control your character with the arrow keys and you can use various tools you make from materials by clicking on them. I really liked this game and I recommend it to people who like puzzle games.

Ahh the N game. this is a cool side scrolling 2D platformer. I heavily suggest downloading this game. It’s free and the downloaded version has many more levels, level editor, and user levels (you can post your level at their site). Pretty much you are a ninja and you need to get to the door in each level. First you need to press a button to open the door and dodge enemies, mines, rockets, and other such things. I really like the wall jumping capabilities and the realistic physics. In this game there are no power-ups other than the ever present gold. It raises your time meter by two seconds. Usually you won’t have to bother getting gold because the levels are either fast or they are loaded with enough of it. I suggest this game to anybody with enough time on their hands.

3. Line Rider

Line Rider is a fun time waster of a game. It has no real point. You just draw a line and your little sled rider follows it. There are three types of lines: a regular blue line, a red line that speeds up the sledder, and a green line thats just for decoration. There are some amazing videos on youtube (check them out these people have way too much time on their hands) and Line Rider is making a retail version of this which should add a lot of features. I recommend this to people who have enough time on their hands and who like to show off their things.

4. Monsters’ Den

This RPG game is addictive. In Monsters’ Den you make four heroes and you fight off the forces of evil. you get items and abilities as you make your way through the dungeons. Each item has different rarities from common to super-rare. There are five classes you can choose from at the beginning: Warrior, the powerhouse of the group, Cleric, holy warriors with the power to heal, Mage, strong magic power but weak defense, Ranger, Bow wielding magic users, and Rouge, Dagger wielding with opponent debilitating abilities. This game lasts for a long time and I recommend it to turn based RPG fans.

5. Feudalism

Another good RPG game. In Feudalism you first pick your nationality and gender. All of the choices have different starting stats (I suggest being the guy ninja double swords rule). So you go around fighting random encounters and completing quests. you can try to take over towns. Getting enough money to buy some of the local units (they control themselves and you can take over the whole map. Some of the weapons are rare and they have special abilities. You can also buy items like potions and scrolls at temples. It is funny and addictive. I recommend it to people who like RPG real time combat (and ninjas).
