On Sunday the greatest regular season game in the history of the NFL regular season will be played. The New England Patriots will take on the Indianapolis Colts in the RCA Dome. The battle of two un-beatens will be a fight to the finish (or at least we hope it will be). Both teams have run over all their opponents making it look as if this week will be a question of what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? The Patriots have outscored their opponents by nearly twenty-six points on average but many think this game will be different. Yes, the Patriots are 8-0 but what it all comes down to is that the Colts finally have their ring and the Patriots no longer have the psychological advantage.
I have a gut feeling that the Colts will win but I also think “how could you stop all the weapons that New England has. Double team Moss and they’ll through it to Stallworth or Welker. Go one on one on Moss and Moss will kill you long.” Pick your poison. I think this will be a very high-scoring game.
Prediction: I have to go against my gut and pick the Patriots in this one. They have a better defense than Indy, a hotter QB, and in my opinion, a better coach. It will be a nail biter. In the words of Terrell Owens: “Getcha pop-corn ready”.
