Pokemon Diamond Review

Hi, this is Eric and I have something to say. I am dearly sorry for not writing anything for the past few days, to the people who know me, I had to take care of my dog, with my brother, for a character building exercise. To everyone else I am sorry you didnt get to read my fantastic writing.

Apologies, Eric Feldstein

I decided to write a review for a great game, Pokemon Diamond.

Lets start off with graphics. In pokemon Diamond has been upgraded. From 2d graphics to a sue-do 2d-3d graphics set. Also they have moving graphics on screen which is not just movement. For example, windmills. The actual pokemon battles have gotten better graphics for the attacks. The Avatar’s for the pokemon have better poses which look very great also. An odd part they did to the game though was make all of the human characters have big heads, bigger than their body heads.

Sound, lets have no preamble, is terrible. All they did was make an odd remix of all of the old songs, and maybe adding one or two new ones. But it sounds terrible. Besides that the pokemon sounds when they are coming into battle are the same harsh note as before, only there is more of it.

Learning tilt is the same as always, about thirty minutes.

The difficulty of the game is actually different, its harder. The Gym Leaders have much stronger pokemon which you are not ready for, and sometimes the wild pokemon are stronger than the pokemon battles in the same area, which is weird.

The gameplay is mostly the same, great gameplay as before with only a few minor changes. The actual land on the map has increased drastically compared to the older games which had a lot of water. In Sinnoh, the new region, almost the only water, besides the ocean, are the three great lakes. It takes forever to get anywhere and you are relieved when you finally get the HM Fly which allows you to quickly get to places you have already been. The game adds a new feature which is the poke-watch. The poke-watch is most like the other devices you get in the other game, but it has a ton more features, all of which are nice, and none of which I am going to tell you about except one. You can see your pokemon’s status at the daycare center! Besides those changes the gameplay is the same except that you will be spending a lot more time training your pokemon against the harder Gym Leaders. One subject I have not touched upon is the Wi-Fi system. It allows you to trade your pokemon to anyone around the world you has the game. You can finally catch them all without buying both games. The trading system allows you to leave your pokemon in a Limbo on the trading system and it will automatically trade depending on what pokemon you want even if you are not playing the game at the exact moment. Besides that I don’t really kno w much else about the Wi-Fi system since it does not work for me, but there is more to it.

Neat fact, this game came out with the most new Legendary pokemon ever.

Send Yourself an E-mail, From the Past

Need a reminder? Don’t have time to send an important email later on? FutureMe.org lets you send emails to yourself in the future. You set the date, and the email address it goes to, and write the email. It’s all very easy to use. The best part though is viewing messages that other people have sent to themselves. (You can set your message to private or public). Here are a couple I though were pretty good:

Dear FutureMe,

Happy 22nd B-day girlie. Im am writing this at 8:06 pm on Dec 27, 2006. By now let’s hope that you have a Job that doesn’t involve customer service. And that by now you have found a guy who was worth keeping cause as you know right now we are having serious issues with that. Hopefully by now we are over our issues with our self-image and with any luck a good 60 pounds lighter.

Just remember that Nina brandi and karlis are your siblings and therefore the only ones who know how truly fucked up our childhood was. If you havent called them lately. Do so right now, Family is important and you should always keep them close. As for momma don’t keep her out of the loop on what’s going on with you life. She does love you hell she gave birth to you. As for Dad let’s hope you have found it in your heart to forgive him for the past. I know that its hard for us to forgive and forget but in the case I think that we really should let bygones be bygones.

As for what our life is at 22. I don’t know. I just hope that you hove finally found a guy who is worthy of you. and if you are in a relationship with a guy whom you dont love but are with just cause you are afriad that no one will ever want to be with us. Remember that as long as we love ourselves that it shouldn’t be so hard for others to love us.

Im not gonna say that we are special cause we both already know that. Just remember that when you were fat and akward that you knew that you could be fabolous if only you tried. And regardless of what happenes in the future. I love you. and that to me your are fantabolous

Love
Urs Truly

P.S. Have we gotten that tattooyet??

Dear FutureMe,

Me and you have just been thinking after browsing the futureme website how similar people are… ambitious, contemplative, comic, and deep down quite aware how wonderful we are. I guess you have to be a little optimistic to write to the future. Though today on your walk to work you decided that the future does not exist in a complex train of though that left you feeling quite brilliant at the time but that in retrospect is hardly original.

I wish you could remember this sense of comraderie when you are meeting people, or remeeting people, or even talking to the people you live with. I wish you were thinking less about how you looked and more about the wonderful things that may be inside this fellow human. I wish the peole in your neighborhood smiled when they walked by and didn’t wait until you are two feet apart to make awkward eye contact and perhaps offer a grim smile. I wish you could even remember the names of the people who live in your apartment building. I wish people weren’t afraid.

Tonight there was a tremendous thunderstorm while you were at work and a tornado touched down somewhere in your city. You didn’t know any of this until you got home and heard phone messages from people calling to ask if you were alright. It was rather strange to have lived through something trying without even knowing it.

I hope you have a wonderful time dancing tomorrow night. I hope you wear something slightly shocking and laugh and drink more than is good for you and forget, for awhile, the analytical contemplative self sitting and thinking inside you for a few frivolous hours. You are twenty-one and deserve to have fun.

I love you
-Me

Your Windows Key

You know that annoying little key on your keyboard with the windows logo? It might not be as useless as you think. Here is a list of usages for it:
